Help Us provide Housing
for veterans

It is the heart of The Most Fortunate Foundation to serve those who served our country. Housing is one of the basic necessities of Life. On any given night in Baltimore City, nearly 2,800 people experience homelessness. Approximately 15% of people experiencing homelessness are veterans. Homelessness is complex and is not simply a lack of housing. It also leaves individuals and families without basic needs such as food, health care, and safety. Without a safe home, our veterans cannot achieve stability in their lives, have good health, or secure employment. The Most Fortunate Foundation is answering the charge of the Mayor’s Office of Human Services and the Maryland VA Medical Center. The city of Baltimore launched its Challenge to End Veteran Homelessness in 2017 (also known as, a collaborative effort between government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, faith-based organizations, and philanthropists.

Our OBJECTIVE

To provide emergency, temporary, and permanent housing for military veterans in Baltimore.

I am a 59 yr old Marine Corp Veteran. I recently received housing after being homeless for years, but didn't have any furniture. I came in contact with The Most Fortunate Foundation who gave me resources to help furnish my new home. There aren't a lot of places that help you unconditionally. The Most Fortunate Foundation is genuine and is for veterans, no strings attached. I am confident God is real he showed me this through this foundation. I am forever grateful. Thank you
